Dr. Dielissen graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in San Jose, CA in 1995. After graduation he returned to Canada and started practicing in Camrose. In 2004, he moved his practice to his hometown, Okotoks, to raise his family and be close to his family and friends.
He is a proud member of the following associations:
- College of Chiropractors of Alberta
- Chiropractic Association of Alberta
- Canadian Chiropractic Association
- National Strength and Conditioning Association.
In 1997, Dr. Dielissen volunteered as an examiner for the Alberta Chiropractic Examining Board for the provincial board licensing exam. In addition to his regular care, he also has a focus on sports injury and has treated many high-level, University and Professional athletes.
Dr. Dielissen is a huge supporter of sports in Okotoks including:
- Volunteers for the Okotoks Bisons Junior B Hockey team (2006-2014 & 2023-current) as team Chiropractor
- Volunteers for HTA Knights High School Football (2015 to current) as coach and team medical staff
- Coaches football for all age groups (Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, High school)
- Volunteered for the Foothills Eagles Minor football teams (2010-2015) as team trainer
- Coached receivers with Football Alberta Senior Bowl South team in 2019
Outside of work, Dr. Dielissen enjoys golfing, shiny hockey, and spending time with family.
