Dr. Dielissen graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in San Jose, CA in 1995. After graduation he returned to Canada and started practicing in Camrose. In 2004, he moved his practice to his hometown, Okotoks, to raise his family and be close to his family and friends.

He is a proud member of the following associations:

College of Chiropractors of Alberta Chiropractic Association of Alberta Canadian Chiropractic Association National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 1997, Dr. Dielissen volunteered as an examiner for the Alberta Chiropractic Examining Board for the provincial board licensing exam. In addition to his regular care, he also has a focus on sports injury and has treated many high-level, University and Professional athletes.

Dr. Dielissen is a huge supporter of sports in Okotoks including:

Volunteers for the Okotoks Bisons Junior B Hockey team (2006-2014 & 2023-current) as team Chiropractor Volunteers for HTA Knights High School Football (2015 to current) as coach and team medical staff Coaches football for all age groups (Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, High school) Volunteered for the Foothills Eagles Minor football teams (2010-2015) as team trainer Coached receivers with Football Alberta Senior Bowl South team in 2019 Outside of work, Dr. Dielissen enjoys golfing, shiny hockey, and spending time with family.

Julia is a registered massage therapist and has been practicing since 2022. Julia’s goal is to support her clients in their recovery and wellness goals. She customizes each session to address pain, mobility restrictions and injury rehabilitation, while also recognizing the value of relaxation in overall health. Julia enjoys incorporating dynamic cupping into her treatments and has been expanding her practice into RAPID NeuroFascial reset techniques, offering clients effective and innovative approaches to restoring movement and function.

Born and raised in High River, Julia enjoys staying active in her free tie, which inspires her passion for helping others move and feel their best.

Ken Chapin

Massage Therapy

After graduating in 1994 from Western College of Remedial massage, Ken has been helping those in the Okotoks area since 1996 and is a proud member of the Natural Health Care Practitioners of Canada. Ken is also registered with the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships and holds a Certificate for Registration for Radiation Equipment.

Ken regularly communicates with international educators in the field to continue educating himself on new and improving techniques to offer his client the best care available. He upgrades his education on a regular basis and contributes to the massage school’s educational curriculum. He focuses on spot specific muscle work, Laser therapy and preparatory work for chiropractic care. He helps clients who have been experiencing long term and ongoing chronic issues. He has worked closely with Dr. Dielissen since 2004 to assist clients towards gaining better movement for better health.

Outside the office he enjoys fishing and other outdoor activities.

Massage Therapy

Taylor graduated with honors from Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2019. With her love for anatomy, physiology and over all well being she fell into the industry seamlessly and hasn’t looked back.

Taylor has found success in treating many concerns such as symptoms of stress, acute injuries and chronic pain. She uses a variety of techniques ranging from deep tissue therapy, relaxation techniques, cupping and intraoral work for her clients with TMJD.

Wendy Powell

Acupuncture

Wendy has been practicing traditional Chinese acupuncture for over 25 years and is registered with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA).

She taught Chinese Theory and Acupressure at Mount Royal University for 3 years and was an examiner for the Alberta Acupuncture Registration Examinations (AARE) for 5 years, along with sitting on the Conduct and Competency Committee.

As a life-long learner, Wendy continues to educate herself to provide the best possible care. She has completed studies in Western nutrition, herbology, vitamins and minerals, homeopathy, as well as reflexology and neuroplasticity. Her specializations and studies include musculoskeletal issues, infertility, pregnancy, thyroid imbalances, and women’s health.

Wendy believes that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when give the right nutrients and healing therapies. Individualized treatments encompass needling, cupping, Chinese massage, and reflexology. Her aim is to facilitate healing in the body to help her clients maintain health and vitality.
